How to Burn Fat Fast!

The fastest and most effective way to burn fat fast is through cardio-vascular or aerobic exercise. You may, of course, enhance this burning effect by a proper diet.

That means adequate food for your weight to keep you strong and healthy. It is scientific fact that the DURATION rather than the intensity of exercise will more effectively burn fat fast. The stronger and healthier you are, the longer you can keep at your workout.

The worst thing you can do, contrary to common belief, is to drastically cut down on your food intake. This can actually ensure that fat is NOT burned.

Burn Fat Fast through a Good Diet

When you starve your body and deprive it of food, what happens? Your body switches on its defense mechanism against starvation. That is, it burns calories at a much slower rate so that it can survive.

That is why people who constantly diet often plateau in their weight loss regimen. Those who lose weight the fastest are those individuals who regulate their diet AND exercise, ensuring that their body is never deprived of nutrition and energy food.

Yes, ENERGY FOOD. That includes so-called “sinful” food like carbohydrates and even fats! However, nutritionists recommend that it is better to stick to complex carbohydrates (found in vegetables and whole wheat or grain products) and unsaturated fat (usually found in unprocessed foods, such as boiled groundnuts).

One of the best regimens to burn fat fast is a grazing diet that will have you eating small amounts of food throughout the day so that your metabolic rate never drops too low. This will make your body constantly burn fat throughout the day.

However, it is recommended that you stop eating around 3 or 4 hours before sleeping and that the food you choose are not laden with oil, shortening, and other sources of saturated fat, which is more difficult to burn that unsaturated fat.

Burn Fat Fast through a Good Exercise Routine

Of course, one of the best ways to burn fat is to engage in regular exercise (3 times a week is often recommended). And the best kind of exercise for this purpose is aerobic or a cardio-vascular workout.

These kinds of workouts stimulate your metabolism, burning fat at a rapid rate unmatched by any other type of exercise. Some examples: jogging or running, swimming, aerobic dance, spinning, or sports such as a game of basketball.

They key is to look for a routine or sport that will not bore you and that you can perform for prolonged sessions (at least 30 minutes to 1 hour of continuous exercise) throughout the year.

If you can't find a sport you like, try varying your workout or alternating an aerobic exercise with a body sculpting one. Sometimes, the best way to burn fat fast is to be so encouraged by how great your body looks that you will never want to be lethargic again.
